Badminton is a great sport for all-round fitness and you can start to play from a fairly low level of fitness and ability. It can be an energetic pursuit or a light workout, depending on individual choice. Either way, the entire body is used due to the large range of movement the sport demands, including leaps, lunges, twists, turns and stretches.
Badminton courts can be hired for one-off games or can be blocked booked for your regular sessions. Why not challenge family or friends to a friendly game or organise a tournament and hire out one or all of the courts?
